The membership would like to give a big thanks to Chuck George for providing food for all the meetings.

NOTES FROM THE PAST TWO MEETINGS

November 17^th meeting:

The TOWN CRIER MAN OF THE YEAR was announced. This year’s recipient was JIM WANG. Congratulations Jim. The award is well deserved.
Tim White said that he will have the Reverse Raffle tickets to hand out at the next meeting. The cost $75.
Kris Czinger has volunteered to sell the one winner side board tickets.
Our membership stands at 67. One third of the membership is necessary for a quorum. There were only 19 members present (not enough for a quorum) so no official business was be conducted.
The nominations and first reading of next year’s officers are scheduled to take place at the December 1^st meeting.
All members were reminded about the Tree Lighting and announcement of next year’s Mr. & Mrs. Westlake at Crocker Park on November 22^nd.

December 1^st meeting:

Once again we did not have a quorum - only 17 members showed up.
Only a hand full of members made it to the Tree Lighting.
With no quorum, no action was taken on next year’s officers. It seems that apathy has set in since the members present couldn’t even come up with a slate of officers to present. We will try again next meeting.
Since no first reading of officers took place, a motion was passed that keeps our current officers in place until new officers can be nominated and elected.
Next year’s Mr. & Mrs. Westlake are Keith and Nancy Estes. Congratulations to Keith and Nancy.
After some discussion concerning the possible venues for this year’s Christmas Party it was determined that there was very little interest in having the Party. Maybe next year things will be better.
The TEXAS-HOLDEM fund raiser has been moved back to sometime in January. More information to follow.
The annual Christmas Luncheon will be held on Monday, December 29^th, at Dover Gardens. The festivities will start around 1:00 pm.
